Each week I will go over a new quote as indicated in the book A Year of Living with More Compassion, and I will produce a vlog for you, so you can practice along with me.

“I never beat myself up gently.”
Here is the practice for this week: 1) Practice making a scowling, negative facial expression for 15-30 seconds. 2) Switch to a kind, compassionate facial expression for 15-30 seconds. 3) Note the difference. 4) Practice speaking with a negative tone (e.g. say something unkind to yourself. 5) Practice speaking with a kind, compassionate tone. 6) Note the difference.
